How It Works – The Learning Method

Learning Stages: From beginner-friendly categories to more advanced content, this app supports Russian learning at any stage.

Visual Learning: The method is based on visual association. Playful illustrations come to life, smile, or make expressive faces, making the Russian alphabet and vocabulary easier to remember.

Audio Support: Each word comes with native Russian pronunciation, helping learners perfect their pronunciation effortlessly.

Learn Through Play: The app includes a learning module (PixiSchool) and six interactive games to reinforce vocabulary through engaging activities: PixiSpelling, PixiMemory, PixiQuiz, PixiPair, PixiSay, and PixiWords.

Context-Based Learning: Each phrase includes a short description and a translation, which can also be played aloud, making learning both immersive and effective.

The Games and Skills Developed

PixiMemory: A classic memory game where players match identical picture cards. After each correct match, the Russian word is pronounced, expanding vocabulary while improving memory, concentration, and language skills.

PixiSpelling: A Russian alphabet game where players spell the Russian word based on the displayed image. Once completed, the word is read aloud with native pronunciation, reinforcing spelling and word recognition.

PixiQuiz: Players must choose the correct image that matches the displayed Russian word from four options. Incorrect answers allow for retrying, helping to develop word recognition and visual association.

PixiPair: Players match colored picture cards with their black-and-white counterparts. Successful matches trigger the pronunciation of the word in Russian, enhancing concentration, fine motor skills, and vocabulary.

PixiSay: Players say aloud the name of the object shown in the image. If unsure, they can flip the card to hear the correct Russian pronunciation.
