App Description
Download AVR Controller App and experience remote control that looks as good as your AVR sounds. Not a typical app - AVR Controller mimics the front of your receiver and the physical volume knob. Most AVR apps feel dated, cluttered, or overly technical. This one doesn’t; thoughtfully spaced controls give it a high-end, cinematic vibe — like it belongs alongside your home theater equipment.
When you pull it out during movie night, or to enjoy your favorite music, it feels more like using a professional control panel than a basic utility app.
Compatible with Denon and Marantz AVRs from 2014 and later that have network capabilities. This application is a third party app and not endorsed by or associated with Denon or Marantz.
Features
- Load instantly - Fast, Reliable Control
- Power, volume, mute
- Source Input and sound mode via AVR Quick Selects - displays the sound mode
- Multi receiver support
- Movie Mode: dim the screen to avoid distraction/save battery, tap or pickup to bring it back instantly.
- Support Dynamic IP address support. AVR Controller can search for your AVR on each launch if the IP changes.
- Stays in-sync with your AVR if changes are made outside the app.
NOTE: The “Quick Select” function is abuilt-in feature of Denon/Marantz AVRs. Quick Select allow you to save and access setting for your input, value, and sound mode.
Tips
- For network control to work consistently, the "IP Control" setting in the AVR menu should be set to "Always On" (note: this increases standby power consumption).
- Network - The unit must be connected to the network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
- Static IP (not required, but recommended) - for best/consistent connectivity, you should configure any of your appliances with a static IP.
