App Description
Jono is a team-finding app for projects. Whether you are looking for side projects or trying to start a business - make your idea into a reality. Find team-members or co-founders who are passionate about the same project as you. Unlike other apps like LinkedIn, everyone on the app is looking for a project to join. Everyone here is a project-solver, hacker, entrepreneur, or visionary.
Whether you are trying to build your coding/computer science skills, make a new large language model, design a new healthcare product, solve a geopolitical crisis, or get a group to paint a local mural - Jono provides a platform for people connect around ideas. With a way to collaborate with other researchers, students, engineers, etc, this app provides a way to push new ideas into reality like never before.
For students, this provides an opportunity to build your skillset and showcase side projects. You can post ideas to develop a small Python or Javascript project, find others interested, and learn from others. For entrepreneurs, this platform allows people to come to you with interest in joining an early-stage idea. For people who want to change the world, you can organize local movements or propose bills for human rights, healthcare policy, etc. Jono is an extremely versatile platform. However, at its center, it brings people together to work on what they are passionate about.
Premium costs either $5.99 a month or $35.99 annually (this is primarily to offset the cost of the chat feature). With premium, you can join projects, create projects, send direct DMs, and create group chats.
Unfortunately, the free version is currently limited until we can secure funding. However, the free version still allows for sharing contacts information through your profile. If you find a project you like, you are free to reach out to the project owner directly by clicking on their contact links. You can also share ideas for projects directly on your bio.
