The idea started with helping people see how much they earn during bathroom breaks, but you can use it for anything: timing short breaks, tracking focus sessions, or understanding the value of time spent on small tasks. It’s also meant to offer workers a small sense of control and awareness in their day, especially in environments where breaks often go unnoticed. The tone is light, but the underlying goal is to support healthier boundaries and self-awareness around time.
Main Features:

A manual start and stop timer that shows how much money you've earned during a session, based on your set hourly or annual wage

A summary showing your monthly, yearly, and lifetime totals

An optional in-app purchase called Soft Club, which removes ads and unlocks a small sound effect feature called Discreet Mode

Soft Earnings is designed for adults with hourly or salaried income who enjoy tracking their time or earnings in a casual, low-pressure way. The app doesn’t track anything automatically. It does not access your location, run in the background, or use sensors. You press a button to start the timer and press it again to stop. All earnings are calculated based only on that manual input and the wage you've entered.
