BA-1 FX Strip is the standalone edition of the effects section from Baby Audio’s beloved BA-1 synthesizer.

Modeled on a cult favorite analog synth from the 80s, BA-1 expanded on the original with updated features and a suite of 80s-inspired effects.

Now by popular request, the BA-1 FX Strip is available for iOS with full AUv3 compatibility for use in mobile DAWs like Logic Pro for iPad.

BA-1 FX Strip Features:

Warm saturation with two 80s-inspired drive modes. ‘Circuit’ emulates a circuit-bent synth and “OD’ captures the sound of a vintage overdrive pedal.

- Filter
24 dB/octave resonant low-pass filter based on the MKII edition of the original hardware synth. Can self-oscillate at extreme settings!

- Tone
Low and high shelving filters in the style of cheap 80s rack gear to easily shift the tonal balance of any sound

- Delay
Retro analog-style delay repeats that can be synced to the host tempo

- Reverb
Gritty 80s-style reverb for early digital ambience and reflections

- Chorus
Classic BBD-style chorus effect for extra width and dimension

- Speaker
Accurate emulation of the original hardware’s built-in speaker
