App Description

MarkCard is a phased habit-tracking tool that allows users to record their behaviors, habits, counts and other data by creating customizable cards and checking them off. The physical card format makes it easier for users to adapt to this method, view progress more intuitively, and feel a greater sense of achievement upon completion. The card creation and completion process provides users with a sense of progression, allowing them to adjust between tracking and rest periods to maintain habits longer.

Working 5 days requires 2 days rest, focusing 25 minutes requires 5 minutes break, working all day requires evening rest. We wondered - could habit tracking also be phased? Tracking for several days then taking a break before starting the next cycle or phase. Our tool lets users create cards with fixed checkboxes, then mark them off. For example, exercise training could be tracked for a week, rested for a week, then a new card started.

Benefits:

* Completing a phase provides achievement. Each checkmark is satisfying, but completing a whole phase is extra rewarding.
* Focuses on smaller, achievable goals (7/15/30 days) rather than endless tracking.
* Proper rest leads to longer sustainability, just like the 5:2 work-rest ratio improves efficiency.
* Card tracking is more intuitive, similar to real-world tracking methods users are familiar with.

Additional features:

* Customizable card backgrounds (including photos from albums)
* Flexible checkboxes (2-30 per card)
* Customizable checkmark shapes and colors
* Individual reminder settings per card
* "Start Another" option to begin next cycle
* Statistics showing weekly, monthly, yearly and multi-year data, toggleable between individual items and totals
