We are excited to announce the release of the Zebra BT Comms Utility for iOS, a versatile management tool designed to enhance the functionality of the Zebra WS101 wearable Bluetooth Communication Badge.
The application is available for download from the Apple App Store and is designed to provide a seamless management experience on iOS devices.

Key Features
• Device Information Overview:
- View critical device information at a glance, including battery level, device name,
Bluetooth address, serial number, Bluetooth transport used for the app connection, and
firmware version.
- Page Device: Locate a connected WS101 by triggering an alert (plays a tone, flashes the
LED, and activates haptics). The alert can be stopped by pressing any button on the
device.
• Device Settings Customization:
- Notification Sounds: Toggle sound alerts and change the language for voice
prompts.
• System Configuration:
- Wake Word & Duress Word: Configure custom voice commands to trigger
specific actions.
- Buttons: Map the P1, P2, and P3 buttons to functions like SDK/Application
Control, Call Functions, Microphone mute, etc.
• Other Device Settings:
- Notification Control: Configure the behavior of the Duress Action.
- Reset & Update:
- Firmware Update: Perform firmware updates manually via file selection..
- Factory Reset: Restore the device to its default settings.
- Clear Pairing on Dock: A control feature to automatically delete the WS101's
saved BT pairing list when the device is docked in its cradle. Enabled by default.
• Diagnostics Tools:
- Audio Test: Verify audio functionality by using the record, playback, and Play
Ringtone features to test the device's microphone and speaker.
