App Description
Take part in exciting matches at the Ice Hockey World Championship, where the best players compete across a tournament divided into five divisions.
Select your player with a tap and aim precise shots at the goal—directly, off the boards, or bouncing off another player. You can also send the puck along the boards if the path is clear and score that way. A straight shot isn’t always the smartest choice—plan a few moves ahead and study your opponent’s positioning. Sometimes, focusing on defense is wiser: block an opposing player from a prime spot and wait for the perfect moment to strike, like when the goalie leaves a corner open or a path along the boards becomes free.
Each division consists of national teams split into two groups of eight. During the group stage, you’ll play 7 or 15 matches. A win in regulation time earns 3 points, an overtime or shootout win gives 2 points, and an overtime or shootout loss awards 1 point. The top four teams in each group move on to the playoffs, while the lowest-ranked team is relegated to a lower division—where the top two teams earn promotion. If teams are tied on points, goal difference is considered first, followed by total goals scored.
Just like real hockey, the group stage allows for a more relaxed approach—you can experiment with strategies, and even a few losses won’t automatically eliminate you, as you can still reach the playoffs from fourth place. In the knockout rounds, gameplay becomes more tactical and cautious, where every second, overtime goal, or shootout can decide the winner. Each phase of the tournament delivers a distinct experience—from fast-paced offensive excitement to tense, strategic medal-deciding matches with tight defenses and last-minute goals.
Experience legendary hockey rivalries, such as the Russia–Canada Super Series, the Czech–Slovak Federal Derby, the Sweden–Finland Scandinavian Derby, and other historic clashes from world hockey.
The game offers three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Begin with Easy to gain experience, and then challenge yourself to become a champion in the tougher modes.
You can improve your hockey team by winning matches, increasing its rating and level. A higher rating means your team performs better—and your goalie makes more crucial saves. Losing matches decreases your rating.
Teams are ranked by strength from 1 to 5 stars:
