Every day, we pick up our phones dozens of times without thinking. A quick glance turns into an hour of scrolling. 
Intention changes that pattern by making you pause before you dive in.

Instead of fighting your phone after you've already lost time, Intention creates a simple barrier: your apps are blocked by default. When you genuinely need them, you tap "Use Apps," set a time limit, and go. When time's up, they're blocked again. No willpower required — just a moment of awareness.

THE PROBLEM

Screen time apps tell you how much time you wasted — after the fact. Weekly reports don't change behavior. Neither do limits you can easily dismiss. The problem isn't information. It's that picking up your phone is effortless, and putting it down requires willpower you don't always have.

THE SOLUTION

Intention flips the script. Your selected apps start blocked. To use them, you must:

Tap "Use Apps"
State your intention (what you're doing and why)
Set a time limit
Use your apps with purpose
When time ends, apps are automatically blocked again
This tiny friction — just a few seconds — is enough to break the mindless scroll cycle. You'll find yourself asking: "Do I actually need this right now?" Often, the answer is no. And you'll move on with your day.

FEATURES

Live Activity Timer
See your remaining time on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. No need to open the app — your timer is always visible. When you're done early, tap "I'm Done" right from the Lock Screen.

Instant App Blocking
Selected apps are shielded until you consciously choose to use them. Uses Apple's Screen Time technology for reliable, system-level blocking that works even when Intention isn't running.
