MAP-STROKE

An app for paramedics that recommends the best hospital for stroke patients, aiming to improve their neurological outcomes. The paramedic enters the patient's information and answers surveys while sitting beside the patient. Based on this information, the Mapstroke API will return the nearest medical facility center equipped to provide the necessary stroke care. The app considers factors like travel distance and current traffic conditions to ensure the patient reaches the most appropriate facility center. By providing real-time, data-driven recommendations, this app helps paramedics make critical decisions quickly, potentially improving stroke outcomes and saving lives. This app is currently being tested as part of a pilot study.
