App Description

Overwatch x Rescue SOS is a single-purpose tool for fast SMS escalation of emergencies to our Crisis Response Center.

How it works

- Sign in with your Overwatch x Rescue DTC credentials.

- Swipe SOS in an emergency.

- The app opens a preloaded SMS to the Overwatch x Rescue Crisis Response Center in your phone’s default texting app.

- Tap Send to initiate an SOS alert and start a continuous chat with our response coordinators through Pulse, our proprietary Critical Event Management software.

- Quickly update your location via a preset message that includes your location data.

- Cancel your SOS alert with two taps by sending the preset cancellation message to our Crisis Response Center.

What this app does

- Preloads an SOS alert text to the Overwatch x Rescue Crisis Response Center in your phone’s default texting app; works over cellular and satellite connectivity (satellite-enabled device and active satellite plan required).

- Enables two-way communication with our Crisis Response Center for the coordination of rescues and medical evacuations.

- Uses your device’s existing SMS capabilities (cellular and satellite) to communicate with our Crisis Response Center via the Pulse platform

Important notes

- SMS coverage is required; standard carrier messaging rates may apply.

- This app does not replace emergency services. If local emergency numbers (e.g., 911/112) are available, contact them first.

- Do not use while driving or in situations where device use is unsafe.
