RepairBuddy turns a broken appliance, a car fault or a leaking pipe into a repair plan you can follow at home.
Describe the problem in your own words, or add a photo or a short video of the item. RepairBuddy works out the most likely cause and writes step-by-step instructions for someone standing in front of the thing that is broken.
WHAT YOU CAN FIX
• Home appliances. A washing machine that will not spin. A fridge that stops cooling. An oven that will not heat.
• Cars and vehicles. A warning light on the dash. Fluid dripping under the car. A noise that started this week.
• Plumbing. A dripping kitchen faucet. A slow drain. A toilet that keeps running.
• Phones, PCs and tablets. A cracked screen. A battery that drains by lunchtime. A device that will not charge.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Start a repair and describe the issue in plain words.
2. Add a photo or a short video of the broken part, so nothing is lost in description.
3. Read the most likely cause, then work through the repair steps in order.
4. Mark the repair as fixed when it is done, or start a new one.
SAFETY FIRST
Every repair opens with the precautions for that specific job. Unplug the appliance. Shut off the water supply. Park on a flat surface and engage the handbrake. Clear the area and wear gloves. You see them before step one, not buried at the bottom.
