Lumashape streamlines the tool organization workflow by combining fast mobile scanning with powerful web-based layout design. Use the mobile app to capture your tools and automatically generate clean, accurately scaled contours. Each contour is saved directly to your Tool Inventory for use within the Lumashape web application.

From there, the Lumashape web platform allows you to design custom layouts, download cut-ready DXF files, or order professionally manufactured 5S tool control foam inserts.

Lumashape also includes a shared ecosystem where users can publish tool scans and completed layouts. This helps reduce redundant scanning and design work across the community, giving users access to a growing library of tools and layouts created by others.

How it works:
1. Capture Your Tools – Take a guided photo of your tool, and Lumashape automatically extracts a precise contour.
2. Enter the Tool Length – Provide the overall length to ensure the contour is scaled accurately.
3. Design on the Web – Log into the Lumashape web app to manage your tool inventory, build layouts, and publish tool scans and completed layout designs to the Lumashape ecosystem.
4. Export or Order – Download cut-ready DXF files for in-house manufacturing or submit your layout for professional foam-insert production.
