Subscription information
The Afenlight app is a business discovery and management tool designed to connect local businesses with users. Our subscription model (managed via Stripe) is designed as a business service for merchants and listing owners.
The subscriptions provide the following business-focused services that are primarily managed outside of the consumer-facing app:
Business Portfolio Management: Allows businesses to display extended professional information, galleries, and videos.
Event Hosting Services: Provides businesses with the utility to broadcast and manage physical real-world events to the local community.
Connectivity Tools: Enables businesses to list specific physical payment methods accepted at their brick-and-mortar locations.
We utilize an external payment processor (Stripe) because these subscriptions represent a business-to-business (B2B) service agreement for listing management and marketing services, rather than a consumption of digital content by the end-user. The primary value provided is for the business visibility in the physical marketplace.
