App Description
SUS is a social deduction party game (imposter game) where 3 to 20 players share a single phone, take turns viewing a secret word, and try to figure out who the imposter is. Pass the phone around, give clever clues about your word, and vote to eliminate the spy — all without needing internet, accounts, or a second device.
Most party games either need everyone to download an app, require WiFi, or take ten minutes to explain. SUS gets your group playing in under 30 seconds. Everyone swipes up to see their secret word card — civilians all see the same word, while the imposter gets a different one (or no word at all). The discussion phase is where the game comes alive: bluffing, reading faces, and trying to figure out who doesn't belong.
## How Do You Play SUS?
Each round, players take turns privately viewing their word card by swiping up on the phone. Civilians all receive the same secret word and must give subtle clues that prove they know it — without making it obvious to the imposter. The imposter sees a different word and has to bluff their way through. After the discussion timer runs out, the group votes on who they think the spy is. A built-in animated countdown timer shifts from green to red as time runs low, creating real tension without needing a separate app or stopwatch.
## What Makes the Mr. White Role Special?
The Mr. White role adds a strategic comeback layer that changes how every round plays out. Mr. White is a special imposter who receives no word at all — they're completely in the dark and must piece together clues from the discussion to figure out what word the civilians are hinting at. If the group votes Mr. White out, they get one final chance: guess the secret word correctly and steal the win. This "last guess" mechanic means the game is never truly over until the final moment, and it keeps voted-out players invested in the outcome.
## What Word Packs and Customization Does SUS Offer?
SUS includes 12 themed word packs with over 1,100 words covering Everyday Objects, Food, Video Games, Anime, Celebrities, TV Shows and Movies, Sports, Animals, Music Artists, Gym and Fitness, and fully custom packs you create yourself. Custom word packs let your group play with inside jokes, school subjects, or any theme you want. Game settings are adjustable too — set the number of imposters (up to half the players), choose round durations f
