FishLog is a simple fishing diary designed for anglers.
Log when and where you fish, what the weather and water conditions were like, and what you actually caught, so you can learn from every trip.

All records are stored locally on your device. You stay in control of your own data.

#### Trial and Lifetime Access

- New users get a **full 1‑day trial** with all features unlocked
- No account is required during the trial
- After the trial, a one‑time purchase unlocks all features for lifetime access
(non‑subscription, no auto‑renewals)
- Your purchase is linked to your Apple ID, so you can restore access after reinstalling the app or switching devices

#### Privacy and Permissions

We carefully limit how permissions and network access are used:

- **Location**: used to record fishing spots, pick a location on the map, and launch navigation in a third‑party maps app; it is not used to continuously track your movements
- **Camera and Photos**: used only when you choose to add photos or videos to a trip or catch, so you can visually review your best moments
- **Network access**: used only to retrieve necessary online data (such as weather information) and to securely validate access to premium features; it is not used for advertising or behavioral tracking

The app does not upload your logs to advertising networks and does not collect personal data unrelated to the core fishing log features.
