# What is BlahBlah?

BlahBlah is a self-messaging app for iOS, built around the familiar comfort of a chat interface — except every message is from you, to you.

Not a journal. Not a note-taking app. Not a to-do list.

A chat. With yourself.

# What You Can Send

BlahBlah supports six types of messages — because a thought doesn't always arrive as words:

• Text — The quick note, the long reflection, the thing you needed to write down before it was gone
• Images — Photos that meant something, screenshots worth keeping, moments you didn't want to lose
• Voice Memos — Record and send audio. Optional on-device transcription makes your recordings searchable — nothing ever leaves your device
• Links — Articles, App Store pages, YouTube videos — saved with a rich preview and your own note alongside
• Locations — Your current position, or any place you search for and want to remember
• Music — Paste an Apple Music link and it arrives as a proper card, with album art and track details

# Two Voices, One You

Sometimes the clearest thinking isn't a monologue. It's an argument.

Dialogue mode splits the conversation into two sides — one for each voice. The rational and the emotional. The question and the answer.

Set names and avatars for each role. Then start talking.

# Find Your Past Self

The filter system lets you search and browse your history:

• Search by keyword across all your messages
• Browse by type — find every photo, every location, every link in one place
• Filter by date range — revisit a particular week, month, or period in your life
• Filter by tag — mark messages with Starred, Idea, or your own custom tags; select multiple and toggle between AND and OR matching
• Filter by dialogue role — view messages from one voice at a time

# Keep It Just Right

Long-press any message to edit it in place. Edited messages are autom
