• In the app

Open WhatChanged

Choose two files or two folders (Left and Right)

Tap Compare


• From the share sheet

In the Files app (or another app that can share files), select exactly two files

Tap Share → WhatChanged

The report opens in WhatChanged automatically

Tip:
The extension is best for file-to-file compare. To compare folders, open the main app.
