Using the Protag device, Key Inspector App decodes the information stored in a vehicle’s key. Depending on the key model and manufacturer, the app can retrieve:

Transponder type and frequency
Key model and technical characteristics
Associated VIN
Key identifiers and configuration data
Where available, extended vehicle information may also be extracted, such as factory paint code, key blade id, last trip data, mileage, fuel level, and other stored parameters.
Data Transparency - The availability of specific information depends on the vehicle manufacturer, key type, and stored data. Key Inspector reads existing key data without modifying the vehicle or the key.
