App Description

GT ASCII Camera turns your iPhone and iPad into a real-time ASCII art viewfinder. Every frame from your camera is transformed on the fly into characters — from classic ASCII symbols to modern Unicode blocks — at full speed, powered by GPU rendering.
Choose between two character palettes: the timeless .:-=+*#%@ ramp for that old-school terminal feel, or dense Unicode blocks for a bold, modern look. Switch between colored output that preserves the original tones of your scene, or go full monochrome for a classic green-on-black terminal aesthetic.
Fine-tune the detail level from 40 to 200 columns, adjust font size, toggle luminance inversion, and pick from quick presets like Retro Terminal, Modern Blocks, or High Detail. Once you've got the look you want, capture photos or record full video — with audio — and save directly to your library or share with anyone.
