App Description

What IS that part?

PartsIQ identifies car parts, cables, connectors, and hardware from a photo. Point your camera at the mystery thing under your hood, the cable in your junk drawer, or the fitting at the hardware store — and PartsIQ tells you exactly what it is, what it does, and where to get one.

No OBD dongle. No physical scanner. No scrolling through AutoZone's catalog hoping you find a match. Just point and know.

HOW IT WORKS:
Open your camera. Point it at any car part, cable, connector, tool, or piece of hardware. PartsIQ's AI analyzes what it sees and returns the part name, a plain-English explanation of what it does, and compatible replacements. Works under the hood, under the sink, and inside your cable drawer. Plus a Search-grounded AI chat that cites live part numbers and compatibility from the open web.

TWO APPS IN ONE:
PartsIQ covers two massive identification gaps that nobody else touches:

CAR PARTS — Point at anything in your engine bay, under your car, or on the exterior. Radiators, alternators, brake calipers, fuse boxes, sensors, hoses, belts, gaskets — PartsIQ names it, explains it, and tells you if it looks like it needs attention.

CABLES & CONNECTORS — USB-C, USB-A, Lightning, HDMI, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt, Ethernet, aux, adapter dongles — if it has a plug, PartsIQ identifies it. Stop guessing which cable goes where.

AI CHECKLISTS:
Generate maintenance plans, repair sequences, or cable-organization to-do lists. Describe a scenario — "replacing brake pads on a 2020 F-150" — and PartsIQ builds a step-by-step checklist with required tools and parts.
