App Description

Nobody's ever finished a blood pressure leaflet. Six decades of nursing later, I think I know why.

Leaflets talk at you, usually in a font that makes you feel like you're already in trouble, possibly for something you haven't even done yet. This app talks like the nurse who's seen your blood pressure, your biscuit tin, and the face you pull when someone mentions salt. Sixty years of nursing, and nothing has shocked her yet, least of all a biscuit tin that empties itself more often than it should.

Who is this app for ?

No ads. No sponsors. Nobody's paying me to tell you your blood pressure's fine when it isn't.
This app is for people whose lives are slightly ridiculous and still expect them to manage a blood pressure reading. The ones juggling work, family, a dog that thinks six in the morning is a perfectly reasonable hour, and a GP appointment they're already rehearsing in the shower. It's for anyone who's ever lost a tablet, blamed the cat, and found it in their coat pocket three weeks later. And it's for the stairs. Specifically the stairs, and whatever they think they're training for.

What you will find inside
Inside, you'll find two hundred and fifty real questions and answers, the ones you'd only ever ask after your third coffee and a good scroll through Google at midnight. Each one ends with a quiz, multiple choice, mostly ridiculous, with the right answer hiding somewhere among the wrong ones you'll enjoy far more.

Fancy more?

Platinum gets you a thousand questions covering every scenario you could dream up at three in the morning, plus nine of my books thrown in, for a one-off twenty-four pounds. Not a subscription. I paid for this myself, so the only person with an opinion in here is me, and I've had sixty years to form one. If it turns out we're not for each other, you've got a full year to get your money back, no hard feelings.

This app won't replace your doctor, your nurse, or a call to 999, and it won't tell you which tablets to take. What it will do is sit quietly alongside everything they're already doing for you, so you walk into that appointment a little less in the dark, and considerably less afraid of the beeping machine on the desk.
