Renew is an AI‑powered old photo restoration app that helps you bring faded, blurry, or damaged photos back to life with one tap. You do not need editing skills: choose a picture from your album or take one with the camera, and Renew automatically restores colors, reduces scratches and creases, and sharpens details so your photos look clearer and more vivid.
The app is organized into four main areas: Home, Restore Records, Subscription, and Settings. On the Home screen you pick or capture a photo, then enter a restoration page where the app processes the image and shows progress. When restoration is complete, you can compare the before and after, save the result to your device, share it, or start another restoration.
Renew uses an in‑app coin system. New users receive a free coin balance to try the service. Each restoration uses a small number of coins; when you run low, you can buy coin packs or choose a subscription that offers restorations without spending coins during the active period.
Subscription plans are available on a monthly, six‑month, or yearly basis. The app shows current prices and benefits before you confirm a purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription and restore previous purchases through your Apple ID.
All finished restorations are stored in the Restore Records section. Your photos appear in a grid with the restoration date. Tap a photo to open a preview, switch between original and restored versions, zoom, save, share, or delete the record. This makes it easy to browse, manage, and show your restored memories.
In Settings you can read the Privacy Policy, User Agreement, and Subscription Terms, view app information, send feedback, and clear cached data. On first launch, Renew presents a privacy notice and asks for your agreement; you can review the full policies at any time in Settings.
Renew is designed for personal use to restore your own old photos. It supports common formats such as JPG and PNG. The app needs photo library access to import and save pictures, camera access when you shoot inside the app, and network access so AI restoration can run on remote servers.
