WonderMath puts you in charge of your child's math practice. You choose the operations, set the number ranges, and decide what your child works on. No algorithm makes that decision. You do.
Your child practices in a colorful, encouraging environment with Bob the Frog, a studious, glasses-wearing math tutor who celebrates correct answers, encourages them through tough problems, and patiently walks them through mistakes step by step.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Sign in with Apple and create a profile for your child
2. Pick from 21 skill-based templates or build a custom test from scratch
3. Hand the device to your child and let Bob take it from here
4. Review results, track mastery, and see exactly where they need help
WHAT MAKES WONDERMATH DIFFERENT
- You choose the math: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or any combination. Set exact number ranges for focused practice that matches your child's level.
- 21 pre-built templates: Addition Sums to 10, Times Tables through 12, Mixed Operations, Math Facts Sprint, and more. Organized by skill and difficulty so you can start in seconds.
- Bob the Frog: Your child's personal math tutor. Bob cheers for correct answers, encourages them when they struggle, and guides through mistakes with patience, not pressure.
- Smart hints, not handouts: Progressive hints steer your child toward the answer without giving it away. Hints reduce the score, encouraging children to try first and ask for help second.
- Retry before reveal: Wrong answers get a second chance. If they still need help, Bob explains the solution step by step.
- Real mastery tracking: Mastery scores weight recent practice and first-try answers, so you can see which operations are strong and which need work. Every test is saved in your child's history, so you can look back over time.
- Trophy system: Gold (90%+), Silver (75%+), and Bronze (60%+) trophies reward effort and accuracy.
- Optional parent PIN: Set a PIN if you want your child to stay in a test until you're back to check their work, or leave it off so they can exit on their own terms. Change it anytime in Settings.
- Works with your curriculum: Built to complement Common Core, Abeka, Saxon, Singapore Math, Classical Conversations, Math-U-See, Teaching Textbooks, and Horizons.
