App Description
Tap Speed Test counts how many times you tap a pad before the clock runs out, and turns that into taps per second (TPS).
Pick a run of 5, 10 or 30 seconds on the start screen. After a 3, 2, 1 countdown the pad is live. Every tap is counted the moment a finger lands, and up to two fingers are counted at once, so you can alternate thumbs or index fingers.
When the clock stops, your TPS decides one of six tapping types: Human Machine above 9 TPS, Lightning Finger above 7, Fast Hands above 5.5, Decent Speed above 4, Relaxed Tapper above 2.5, and Zen Master below that.
Your fastest run for each length and your last 50 runs are kept on this phone only. The result screen tells you whether you beat your record for that length or how far you were from it, and a runs screen lists the fastest of each length next to your recent runs.
Each length also has an anonymous list of the fastest phones. A finished run posts its tap count, and the list shows only a four-character tag for each phone. No name or account is used.
A five-part breakdown of each run shows where your pace dropped. A warm-up mode lets you tap with no clock and nothing saved. Results can be sent as a card that carries the app name and a link.
If you leave the app in the middle of a run, that run stops and is not saved, so every saved run was tapped under the same conditions.
Available in English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese.
