App Description
Mark what happens. Review what matters.
SessionTap turns your iPhone into a live observation tool. Tap colored buttons to record timestamped events while your eyes stay on the subject.
WHO IT'S FOR
ABA therapists and RBTs collecting behavioral data. Sports coaches tracking plays, shots, and fouls. UX researchers logging hesitations, errors, and task completions. Classroom teachers recording engagement and participation. Anyone replacing paper tallies with something better.
REUSABLE BOARDS
Create a board with the event buttons you need, or start from five built-in templates: ABA Basics, Sports Scouting, UX Research, Classroom Assessment, and Simple Counter. Set up once, reuse for every session.
TWO EVENT MODES
Frequency: tap to count. Each tap is timestamped.
Duration: tap to start, tap to stop. Track how long behaviors last. Run multiple durations at the same time.
TIMERS THAT SURVIVE INTERRUPTIONS
Lock your phone, take a call, switch apps. Your session keeps running. Duration timers stay accurate. SessionTap uses absolute timestamps instead of in-memory timers, so nothing resets when the screen turns off. This is a known problem with other observation tools. We solved it.
REVIEW AND EXPORT
See total counts, rates per minute, and duration percentages after each session. Filter the timeline by event type. Add notes for context. Export as CSV for spreadsheets, clinical documentation, or team sharing.
SIMPLE PRICING
$6.99, once. Not a subscription. Other observation apps charge $28/month or $80 for a permanent license. SessionTap costs less than a single month of alternatives and lasts forever.
Start with 3 free sessions. Full functionality, no restrictions. See if it fits your workflow before you buy.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
All data stays on your iPhone. No accounts, no cloud, no tracking. Your observation data never leaves the device unless you export it yourself.
