Welcome to Hexy Hero, the color puzzle game built entirely on a hexagonal grid.

Every tile has six neighbours. Every level, mechanic, and strategic decision flows from the hex. This is color puzzle gaming reimagined from the ground up.

WHY THE HEX GRID FEELS DIFFERENT

As a Hexy Penguin travels the six-sided track, its firing angle shifts at every corner, six distinct angles, one per side. When deployed, it clears every matching tile lined up directly in front of it, one after another, until its ammo runs out or no more matching tiles are in its path.

Tiles out of reach from one angle become accessible from a different side of the track on a later pass. This creates the timing decision at the heart of Hexy Hero: deploy now, or let the penguin keep circling for a better angle? Fire from this side and clear three tiles, or wait one pass and clear twelve?

The art canvas, the track, and every firing angle are defined by hex geometry. Every level is a fresh puzzle in timing, ammo conservation, and reading the board.

HOW TO PLAY
——

A vivid hex art sits at the center of a hexagonal canvas, built from thousands of colored hex tiles. A six-sided track surrounds it, loaded with Hexy Penguins, your color-coded shooters, each carrying an ammo count representing the total tiles they can clear before leaving the board.

Tap a matching penguin to deploy it. It fires inward, clearing matching tiles in its path. Let it loop and it returns from a fresh angle, potentially clearing far more on the next pass. If no penguin matches the board, they loop back and wait.

Clear every tile. Complete the level.

FOUR BOOSTERS. REAL DECISIONS.

· Smart Pick — select any penguin from your queue and deploy it first, bypassing the default order. Use it when the color you need is buried deep in your lineup.
· Extra Slot — adds a penguin to your active track beyond the default, giving more firing coverage per round.
· Mega Striker — removes every tile of a single color in one shot, regardless of position or angle.
· Reorder — randomises your queue when the current order isn't working.

On early levels, you may never need them. On Hard and Expert levels, knowing when to use each one is the difference between finishing and failing.
