App Description
The Repair App is a free, local-first way to find repair pros and stay organized with the things you want to keep. Save items, track warranties, log past fixes, and message repair businesses with the details they need to help you fast.
Whether you’re trying to save money, avoid a landfill, or keep a favorite item alive a little longer, The Repair App makes repair the easy option.
What you can do with The Repair App:
• Find local repair pros for the categories we support today: phones, computers, bikes, fashion and leather, and game consoles
• Message a business in a few taps with helpful item details already included, then add your own notes and photos
• Track warranties and receipts so you know what’s covered and for how long
• Keep a simple “inventory” of your stuff, so you can remember model numbers, purchase dates, and repair history
• Stay on top of what’s worth fixing now vs later, without digging through old emails or camera rolls
Why The Repair App?
• Built for real-life repairs. We focus on speed and clarity so you can get to the right shop without playing phone tag.
• Organized from the start. Item details and optional photos help businesses quickly understand what you have and what’s going wrong.
• Everything in one place. Track items over time with warranty info, proof of purchase, photos from when it was in pristine condition, and your repair history.
• Local-first. Repair is about community, not corporations. We’re here to support the people who keep things running in your neighborhood.
• Free to use. We do not charge users for choosing repair over replacement.
• No payments in the app. Payments are handled directly between you and the business.
• You control what you share. When you message a shop, you can choose whether to share your phone number and email address for direct follow-up.
We’re starting with a focused set of categories and expanding over time. If you can’t find what you need yet, check back soon.
