TrueHue: Paint Color Match

TrueHue is the honest paint color scanner. Where every other app guesses, TrueHue tells you when the lighting is lying — then verifies your color with the iPhone flash — two free scans on every install, unlimited with Plus. No $99 colorimeter to buy and carry.

WHAT MAKES TRUEHUE DIFFERENT

• Refusal coaching: under warm bulbs, dim rooms, or harsh shadows, TrueHue refuses to give you a wrong answer. Move to better light, or use Verify with Flash to keep going.

• Patent-pending flash verification (free on your 2 free scans, then Plus): the iPhone torch becomes a known light source, so you get a steadier read even in a 2700K incandescent room. (US Provisional Application No. 64/055,724.)

• 19,900+ wall-paint colors from 12 major brands: Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Behr, Valspar, PPG, Farrow & Ball, Dunn-Edwards, KILZ, Dutch Boy, Vista, Colorhouse and IKEA — with cross-brand matches. Plus Pantone, RAL and NCS cross-reference for designers.

• Honest numbers, not false precision: every match shows its exact color difference (ΔE) and Light Reflectance Value (LRV). Catalog colors are sRGB-derived, so TrueHue always points you to a physical swatch before you buy — that's the honest part.

• Powered by Apple RoomPlan: scan a room with LiDAR and get wall area, automatic window/door cutouts, and per-room paint estimates. Buy the right amount, no leftovers.
