BabyTrack: Newborn Care Diary

BabyTrack was built by a parent of twins who wanted three things every other baby app got wrong: a feed tracker that remembers which side fed last, a clinical-quality PDF report you can hand to a paediatrician, and a way to share live tracking with grandparents without forcing them to create an account.

Everything works fully offline. Open the app in the middle of the night with no signal and it logs feeds straight into local storage; when you reconnect, BabyTrack reconciles changes with your partner's device in seconds. No spinner, no lost entries.

Last-Side Indicator on the Breastfeeding Timer
The home screen shows a small marker next to "Left" or "Right" so you know which side to start on at 3am — no more guessing or pulling out a notebook. Switch sides mid-feed and the timer keeps both running.

Paediatrician PDF Report
Generate a two-week clinical summary as a PDF in one tap. Includes feed volumes, wet/dirty nappy counts, sleep hours per night, temperature trend, weight against WHO growth curves and any medication doses. Email it to your GP, health visitor or paediatrician before the appointment so they walk in already briefed.

FHIR Health Data Export
For families with complex medical needs, BabyTrack exports growth, feeding and medication records in HL7 FHIR R4 — the same format hospitals use. Drop it into your clinical portal or send to a specialist directly.

Temporary Access Links for Caregivers
Generate a short-lived link for a grandparent or nursery worker. They see the live feed/sleep/nappy log in their browser, no app install, no account, no password. The link expires automatically.

Allergen and Reaction Log
Track first introductions of common allergens (peanut, dairy, egg, wheat, shellfish) with a 72-hour observation window. Set reminders for the next exposure and log any reactions with photo evidence for your GP.

UV Index for Sun Safety
Real-time UV reading for your current location with a clear "OK to go out", "shade only" or "stay in" recommendation tuned for under-1s. Built on the OpenUV API, not generic weather forecasts.
