App Description
Au'commadate is a touch-only communication board and family support app. Built for nonspeaking and minimally verbal kids, teens, and adults, and for the parents, caregivers, and educators who support them.
SPEAK ON TAP
Tap any tile to speak a phrase out loud. Hold a tile for a quiet menu: speak again, add to a sentence, pin it as a favorite, save an alternate phrasing, or edit the card. Build full sentences one tile at a time, clear them, speak them, start over.
YOUR BOARD, YOUR WORDS
Start with categories for core words, needs, feelings, requests, people, places, social moments, emergency, and time. Add your own cards. Pin favorites. Keep a "Mine" strip of phrases that belong only to you. Every edit is saved on this device, no account required to begin.
QUICK CARDS
One-screen cards you can show or share in the moment. Allergies, medications, contact info, communication style, accommodations, whatever you need on hand. Great for a new sitter, a clinician visit, an IEP meeting, or a substitute teacher.
ROUTINES
Same-shape days, one step at a time. Build a morning routine, an after-school routine, a bedtime wind-down, then tap each step as it happens. Progress resets every day so tomorrow starts clean.
FAMILY SUPPORT HUB
A calmer place for parents and caregivers: crisis lines and 988, nearby local help on a map, and quick access to topic areas like schools, transport, Medicaid, treatments, legal help, and parent peer support. Save the resources that matter and come back to them later.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Au'commadate runs entirely on your device. No tracking. No advertising. No account server. No microphone, no camera, no social features. Speech uses Apple's built-in text-to-speech. Export everything you have saved as a JSON file at any time, or delete it all in one tap from Settings.
ACCESSIBILITY
Touch-only on purpose. Large tile targets, strong color contrast, VoiceOver labels across communication tiles, category chips, routine steps, and support cards, and full Dynamic Type support. No swipes or gestures to memorize, every action is a tap or a hold.
FOR WHOM
Families of children with autism, Down syndrome, apraxia of speech, Rett syndrome, or other communication differences. Adults using AAC. Educators, speech-language pathologists, and caregivers who want a simple, private, daily-driver tool for communication and routine support.
