App Description

Every cat has two moods. This one has two: purring under your brush, and biting the hand that strokes it. Your job is to keep grooming him, fast, for as long as you can — without getting caught.

Inspired by the viral "brush jjaemu" browser game and built from scratch for native iOS, Brush the Cat turns a single finger drag into a tense red-light / green-light battle of reflexes. Move your finger across the screen to brush the cat. The faster and further you stroke, the faster your score climbs. But at any moment the cat will turn around and stare straight at you. When that happens, stop. Absolutely still. One more stroke while he's watching and his jaws will fill the screen before you can blink.

KEY FEATURES
• Reflex gameplay — every session tests how fast you can react when the cat turns
• Randomized timing — he watches for 1 to 5 seconds, so you can't just count it out
• Anti-cheese design — pausing mid-stroke won't pause the cat's attention timer
• Jump-scare game over — the cat lunges forward with a full-screen roar and a hand-lettered YOU DIED screen
• Atmospheric audio — low growls as he turns, swooshes as you groom, a terrifying roar at the moment of defeat
• Best-score tracking — your high score persists between runs, so every session is a chance to climb the scoreboard
• One-thumb play — no buttons, no menus, no tutorial. You get it in three seconds.

TIPS
• Greed is what kills you. The urge to squeeze in one more stroke is how most runs end.
• Lift your finger before you think you need to. The grace window is short.
• Long strokes score better than fast flicks — the game rewards distance, not taps.

Built with React Native, Reanimated, and a custom gesture engine for tight, responsive feel. No ads. No paywalls. No tracking. Just you, a finger, and a very angry cat.

If you like minimalist arcade games, one-more-run hooks, or you've ever wondered whether you'd survive a staring contest with a cat — download Brush the Cat.
