App Description
myFlightBrief is a native iPad briefing companion for long-haul pilots. Paste in your Lido OFP and get a full briefing pack in seconds — hourly weather, ACARS reports, ETOPS status, live diversion analysis, and en-route tracking. Everything stored locally, works offline once loaded.
Built by a 777 pilot, for long-haul pilots.
ROUTE INTELLIGENCE
- Hourly Brief — the algorithm checks the top 3 diversion airports for every stage of the flight and refreshes them continuously, so you're always briefed for where you actually are.
- Live 3D globe tracker with ETOPS-area alerts, MORA warnings, and shear ratings flagged inline.
- Filtered weather and NOTAMs — the METARs and NOTAMs that matter, without the noise.
- SIGMET review with a manual crop step before OCR.
PREFLIGHT TOOLS
- Fuel Uplift Check — SG-based per-litre validation
- NADP procedure lookup
- Fuel Jettison timing and rate calculator (per aircraft type)
- DG Drills reference
- Departure Brief workflow
- Crew Rest window calculator
INFLIGHT TOOLS
- Rate of Descent — with FAP/FAF altitude correction for hot-and-high days
- ETOPS status
- NATs cheat sheet — OTS, oceanic clearance timings, NATS check, equipment failure before and after the boundary (sourced from ICAO NAT Doc 007)
- IFBP position report
- Inflight Contingencies reference
- Arrival Brief workflow
MEMORY AID
- Two-column preflight checklist you tick as you go, with the departure timer always in view.
WHY YOU'LL WANT IT
- Offline. Once your OFP is loaded, the whole app runs without connectivity.
- No sign-up. No account. No password.
- No subscription. Pay once, use forever.
- No data collection. Nothing leaves your iPad.
WHO IT'S FOR
Long-haul pilots flying Lido OFPs — currently optimised for B777, A380 and A350 workflows.
Built by a 777 pilot who wanted a briefing tool that didn't need an account, a subscription, or harvest your data — just paste in the OFP and go.
