App Description
Built for tiny hands. One yellow shutter button — that's everything your toddler can tap.
Honest Camera is the simplest camera for children ages 3 and up. No mode switches, no settings menu, no in-app purchases, no ads — nothing for your child to accidentally tap their way out of.
What makes it honest:
• One big yellow shutter button. Tap to take a photo.
• Photos save straight to your Photos library — no save dialog, no choices to make.
• What you see is what you get. The preview matches the saved photo. No filters, no AI editing.
• Big red X button to close the photo and shoot again.
Designed around how toddlers actually use phones:
• Buttons sized for small fingers and uncoordinated taps
• Yellow and red — the two colors children recognize first
• A guided onboarding walks parents through Apple's Guided Access so the device stays inside the camera while your child plays
What it does NOT do, on purpose:
• No gallery browsing inside the app
• No filters, stickers, or AI effects
• No video recording
• No photo editing or sharing
• No accounts, no cloud, no analytics tracking your child
Made for the moment your child wants to take a photo of their toy — and you don't want to hand them anything that could go anywhere else.
One purchase. No subscriptions. No upsell.
