App Description

Heartburn is a calm, offline diary that helps you figure out what actually triggers your heartburn, bloating, or gut pain.

No account. No "premium community" subscription. No banners pushing vitamins. Just you and your diary — and after a couple of weeks, a clear map of your triggers.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Log symptoms in one tap from the home screen.
2. Note what you ate, which meds you took, how you felt.
3. After 2 weeks, Heartburn analyses your data and shows:
• Which foods are linked to flare-ups most often
• The time-of-day window when symptoms cluster
• Days of the week with the highest activity
• How mood correlates with your gut

WHAT YOU GET

CHARTS & INSIGHTS
Symptom severity over time, mood correlation, week-over-week comparison. No math — every chart reads at a glance.

TRIGGER DETECTION
Heartburn compares days with a specific food to days without — and shows how much more often symptoms appeared. Not "maybe coffee?" but concrete "1.8× more often after coffee".

PDF FOR YOUR DOCTOR
A clean report with charts, triggers, and entries for the period you pick. One tap to generate, one tap to share — email, messenger, Files.

GENTLE REMINDERS
Morning, evening, meds. Flexible days and times. Or off entirely.

iCLOUD SYNC (opt-in)
Your diary copies into your personal iCloud container. Apple owns the infra; we don't. One toggle to enable, one to turn off.

PRIVACY ISN'T A MARKETING LINE

We don't send your data to servers. We don't run analytics. We don't integrate with social networks. The app has no accounts — a diary doesn't need them.

WHO IT'S FOR

• GERD / acid reflux / chronic heartburn
• Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
• Chronic bloating and gas
• Preparing for a gastroenterologist visit
• Anyone trying to figure out their food triggers

Heartburn is not a medical device and doesn't replace a doctor. It's an observation tool that makes the conversation with your doctor more concrete.
