App Description

GratitudeLock helps you start your mornings with intention instead of endless scrolling.

Most people wake up and instantly get pulled into notifications, social media, and overstimulation before their brain even has a chance to fully wake up. GratitudeLock creates a small but powerful pause between you and distracting apps by requiring you to practice gratitude first.

Before accessing selected social media apps, you’ll be asked to write a short gratitude entry. Just one sentence can completely change the direction of your morning and help train your mind to focus on the positive instead of the chaos.

GratitudeLock is not about toxic positivity or forcing yourself to be productive. It’s about reclaiming your attention before algorithms do.

FEATURES

• Lock distracting apps until you complete your gratitude practice
• Create a healthier morning routine
• Train your mind to notice positivity and progress
• Simple and distraction-free experience
• Beautiful and calming design
• Build consistency without pressure or streak anxiety

WHY GRATITUDE?

Your brain becomes better at noticing whatever you repeatedly focus on. If every morning starts with comparison, outrage, and endless scrolling, your mind slowly learns to search for negativity automatically.

But when your mornings begin with gratitude, you start noticing the good things that were always there: progress, calm moments, meaningful connections, and small wins that used to go unnoticed.
