TickIQ turns your iPhone into a real-time tick scanner using an inverted color filter that makes dark ticks pop against light fur, skin, or clothing. Snap a photo to identify the species, then read CDC-aligned removal and prevention guidance.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open Scan and point your camera at fur, skin, or clothes
2. The real-time inverted-color filter highlights dark specks instantly
3. Capture and save anything suspicious to your log
4. Use Identify to AI-identify the species from a photo
5. Read the removal and prevention guide, and ask the AI what to watch for after a bite
WHY INVERTED COLOR WORKS
Ticks are tiny and often dark. On light fur or pale skin they blend into shadow and texture. Flipping the colors of the live camera makes dark ticks appear bright against a dark background, so your eye catches them in seconds.

AI IDENTIFICATION AND GUIDANCE
Photograph a tick after removal (or before, on a contrasting surface). The AI analyzes color pattern, shield shape, leg banding, and size to suggest the most likely species with a confidence level. Then ask follow-up questions like "I removed a tick from my dog two days ago, what should I watch for?" and get plain-English context. The AI refuses medical diagnosis and treatment calls and points you to your veterinarian, doctor, or local public health authority instead.
