App Description

Food Recall Monitor helps you check official U.S. food safety records from the FDA and USDA/FSIS before you buy, cook, or use a product.

Search by product name, brand, UPC, lot code, or package text. You can also scan a barcode and compare matching records with the product label in your hand.

Each record is organized around the details that matter:
• What product is involved
• Why it was reported
• UPC, lot, date, or package details when available
• Where it was reported or distributed when available
• Source, status, report date, and official notice link

Use filters to focus the feed by state, high-risk records, warning types, or allergens you care about. Save records you want to check again later.

Food Recall Monitor is designed for quick checking at home or in a grocery store, with clear summaries and direct links back to official government notices.

Important:
This app is an informational tool. A missing search result does not mean a product is safe or unaffected. Always compare the package, UPC, lot code, date, and official notice before deciding whether to buy, use, return, or discard a product.
