App Description
Know when lightning is about to hit — before it does.
My Lightning Tracker puts real-time lightning strike data right on your map. The moment a bolt touches down near you, you see exactly where it hit, how far away it was, and how strong the signal is. Tap any strike for the full details: timestamp, distance, and the nearest named location.
Three map views give you the full picture:
• Latest — live strike pins updating as storms roll through
• Hotspots — a heat map showing the most active strike zones across the country
• Radar — overlay storm movement on the same map
Track the places that matter to you. Add named locations — Home, Cabin, the office — by dropping a pin or searching, and every strike in your History is automatically tied back to those spots.
History at a glance. Flip between 24h, 7-day, and 30-day windows to see total strikes, the closest strike distance, and the peak hour. Every individual strike is logged with its time and distance so you can review a storm long after it passes.
My Lightning Tracker requires a subscription to access real-time strike data. A 3-day free trial is available. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings at any time.
