App Description
The clearest rain radar for the Netherlands. Open, honest, ad-free. Built on the official rain and weather data from KNMI — the same source used by Dutch journalists and meteorologists.
No account. No tracking. No hidden subscriptions. Just knowing whether to grab a jacket.
LIVE RAIN RADAR
See up to two hours ahead, anywhere in the Netherlands. The radar plays back at a smooth 60 fps, with a time slider that responds the way you'd expect. Zoom in to street level, zoom out to the whole of Europe.
8-DAY HOURLY FORECAST
Temperature, chance of rain, wind speed and direction — everything in one view, for any point in the country.
RAIN ALERTS THAT MAKE SENSE
One push notification just before it starts raining at your location. Not ten. OpenWeer reads the KNMI radar every five minutes and knows exactly when to ping you.
WIDGETS AND LIVE ACTIVITY
Put the weather and rain radar on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. During a shower, the Dynamic Island shows a live countdown — no need to open the app.
ASK OPENWEER
"Should I leave now to get home dry?" "Can I hang the laundry outside?" Ask in plain English and get an answer grounded in the latest measurement.
