App Description
Rotchi turns your phone into a place where you grow, not scroll. It's a tiny moss-pet that lives on your screen and thrives when you do — and wilts when you don't. No willpower battles. No guilt-tripping dashboards. Just a small living creature that depends on you, and a phone that finally works for you instead of against you.
HOW IT WORKS
You wake up. Rotchi is here, waiting. Three quests for the day: drink water, take a 10-minute walk, no phone at lunch. Tap each one as you complete it. Coins drop in. Open Instagram? It costs you. Skip a day? Rotchi gets sad. Disappear for a week? Rotchi dies.
Example: phone face-down during dinner, 20 minutes of reading, one walk outside, no TikTok before lunch. Result — 4 quests done, 60 coins earned, and your pet hugs a heart.
YOUR PET, YOUR LEVERAGE
You don't need another habit tracker. You need something that looks at you when you fail. Rotchi has 7 evolution stages, 6 unlockable skins, and 4 visible moods. You raise it the way you raise yourself.
Daily quests — 3 healthy habits, refreshed every morning
App blocker — TikTok, Instagram, X, Reddit, YouTube, Snapchat. Toggle them, schedule them, set a cost per minute
Coin economy — earn coins from habits, spend them to unlock apps. Five minutes of doomscroll has a price now
Emergency unlock — when you really need it, pay 3× and Rotchi stays sad for 2 hours
Streak with mortality — Rotchi visibly wilts on day 3 of absence and dies on day 7
WHY IT WORKS WHEN NOTHING ELSE DID
Screen-time limits are easy to ignore because nothing is on the line. A number going up doesn't move you. A creature getting sad does. Rotchi turns abstract "I should use my phone less" into something concrete, alive, and impossible to ignore. You're not fighting yourself anymore — you're taking care of someone.
ONE LETTER A DAY. ZERO NOISE.
No spam. No 47 notifications killing your focus. Every morning, Rotchi writes you one short letter, tuned to how you've been treating him — loving, hopeful, sad, or scared. You read it. That's it.
One letter from a creature who needs you beats a hundred push notifications. It's the only message from your phone you'll actually look forward to.
YOUR PROGRESS IN 3 WEEKS
Week 1 — You build the loop. You talk to your pet instead of opening Instagram. Every quest done feeds him. Every minute saved buys you coins.
Week 2 — It gets weird. You catch
