App Description

You can't quit. But you can moderate.

Drift is a habit app for the habits you don't want to break completely — drinking less, smoking less, scrolling less, spending less. Most habit apps chase streaks, so one bad night wipes out weeks of progress and you give up. Drift tracks your moving average instead. A single slip barely moves the needle, and you can see yourself get back under your goal in a day or two, not a month.

WHY AVERAGES, NOT STREAKS
A 7-day average forgives a bad night and rewards you for the other six good ones. No shame spiral, no "I broke my streak so why bother" — just an honest number that reflects how you're actually doing.

STAY UNDER YOUR GOAL, PAY NOTHING
Set a weekly or monthly target for each habit. Stay under it and Drift is free. Go over, and a small, pre-set charge kicks in — real stakes, without a punishing up-front commitment contract.

IT TIGHTENS ITSELF
As you improve, your target quietly ratchets down with you, so the app keeps pace with your progress instead of staying static.

SEE WHERE YOU'LL LAND
A simple projection shows your average days ahead, so you know today whether you're on track before the week is over.

BUILD HABITS UP, NOT JUST DOWN
The same forgiving math works in reverse for habits you want to do more of — gym, reading, water, anything with a number attached.

ONE NUMBER, NO NOISE
No gamification, no coach character, no streak fireworks. Just one honest number and a clean weekly view.

LOG IT WITHOUT OPENING THE APP
Add or subtract from the notification shade, or from a lock-screen widget. Press, tap, done — the app never has to open.

Drift is built for people who've tried quitting apps and commitment contracts and found them too punishing, and for people who've tried streak trackers and found them too fragile. It's the middle path: honest tracking, forgiving math, real stakes only when you need them.
