PRIVACY & DATA

• Local-first: bills and EOBs stay on your device by default
• Sign in with Apple to sync Active Cases and restore subscriptions on a new device
• Cloud AI is OFF by default. If you opt in, selected document text may be processed on our secure U.S. backend; each scan also requires per-document consent
• No personal OpenAI API key required
• Export or delete your data in Settings → Privacy & data

SUBSCRIPTIONS (optional)

BillShield Pro adds more Active Cases and AI credits for optional Cloud AI features. Appeal Pack is a one-time purchase for bonus credits and a Premium Appeal Review. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Restore purchases after signing in with the same Apple ID.
