App Description
Note trainer with mic — play a note, Notzart recognizes it instantly.
Notzart turns your phone into a music-reading coach. A note appears on the staff; you play it on your real instrument; the microphone listens, the algorithm compares the pitch, and you get a green flash for a correct answer or a gentle red one for a miss. No typing, no buttons — just play.
Designed for beginners and pre-conservatory students, equally useful for adults brushing up on score-reading.
SIX INSTRUMENTS
Piano, Guitar (6-string, 19 frets), Bass Guitar (4-string, E1 to G4), Flute (C4 to C7), Violin and Cello. Each gets its own optimised microphone preset and a dedicated screen — keyboard, fretboard or intonation light.
REAL MUSIC NOTATION
Treble, bass, alto and baritone clefs. Whole, half, quarter, eighth, 16th and 32nd notes with proper note heads, beamed eighths and sharps/flats drawn next to the notes. Bar lines, time signatures, dots, ties, fermatas — the staff looks like the real thing because it is.
SONGS TRAINER — 35 BUILT-IN MELODIES
From Twinkle Twinkle and Mary Had a Little Lamb to Greensleeves, Vincent (Starry Night), Auld Lang Syne, Hava Nagila, Brahms Lullaby and Minuet in C — six different keys (C, G, D, F major; A, D, E minor) so you practice every accidental that matters in early sight-reading. Each song is broken into 8 progressive stages: right-hand fragments, full right hand, left hand fragments, full left hand, right at tempo, left at tempo, both hands manual, both hands at tempo. The staff scrolls glass-smooth under a fixed playhead, the beat clock waits for your first note before starting, and you can jump bar by bar at any moment.
CHROMATIC TUNER
A separate Tuner tab with a cents meter, animated needle, green/yellow/red zones, and open-string references for guitar, bass, violin and cello. Tune your instrument before you practice — no app-switching.
FOUR LANGUAGES, THREE NOTE SYSTEMS
English, Russian, Italian, Spanish. Pick Do Re Mi or C D E or Russian solfege for note names — independent of UI language.
OCTAVE-ACCURATE
The pitch detector returns the correct octave too — C4 and C5 are never confused. Choose which octaves to practice in Settings and narrow the range to your current level.
METRONOME
2/4, 3/4, 4/4 and 6/8 time signatures. BPM 30 to 240, visual beat dots, audible tick that won't fight your instrument.
