RouteSky: Weather Route GPS

Turn-by-turn navigation with Apple Weather's forecast for your whole route, matched to the hour you'll reach each stretch. Most weather apps stop at the forecast; RouteSky guides you there.

THE WHOLE ROUTE, NOT THE DESTINATION
• A weather corridor along every route, from Apple Weather
• Rain onset, fog and its clearance, snow, ice risk and low-sun glare
• Next-hour rain timing where Apple Weather provides it
• Official weather warnings on your route, with the issuing agency named
• Crosswind notes for high-sided vehicles when you compare routes
• Low-beam prompts in fog after dark

A JOURNEY SCORE THAT EXPLAINS ITSELF
Every route gets one number and shows what drove it. Compare routes on time and conditions.

THE BEST TIME TO LEAVE
• Score departures across the next three hours and find the calmest
• A Departure Countdown on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island
• Leave-time reminders, and an optional nudge to pre-warm or pre-cool the car

AVOID WHAT YOU'D RATHER NOT DRIVE
• Avoid highways and tolls wherever Apple Maps has another way
• Prefer fewer tight bends, narrow roads or complex junctions: RouteSky picks the Apple Maps route that suits you and shows the time it costs

REAL NAVIGATION
• Turn-by-turn with 3D guidance and spoken directions
• Speed limits where OpenStreetMap maps them, and lane guidance at supported intersections
• Speed enforcement alerts on your route, where permitted and supported.
• Automatic rerouting and arrival detection
• Your last forecast kept for up to 6 hours if the signal drops
• CarPlay: the forecast painted on the route, a Journey Score on each route choice, and the Dashboard
• Apple Watch: the next turn, the weather ahead, your Journey Score and complications
• Live Activities, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Siri and Spotlight

PARKING
• Parking lots near you and your destination

DRIVER MODES
Long-haul, coach, motorcycle and RV modes add rest-break reminders; long-haul, coach and RV modes show your vehicle's speed limits where mapped. Emergency mode simplifies the drive screen and lists routes with less severe weather first. No mode routes by vehicle size or weight.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT ISN'T
