Compass Atlas is a precision GPS compass and navigation instrument for iPhone. It tells you which way you're facing, exactly where you are, and how to get back to the places that matter — and because GPS works without internet, it keeps working offline, deep in the backcountry or in airplane mode.

THE COMPASS
A large dial with your heading in clear numerals and the cardinal direction beside it. Lock a bearing and a colour-coded wedge shows how far you've drifted. True or magnetic north with local declination. Live calibration status, magnetic-field strength and GPS accuracy, so you always know how much to trust the reading.

THIRTEEN FACES
One compass, thirteen instruments. Atlas, a warm dark reference dial. Compass, the classic two-tone. Minimal, one hairline and one red tip. Then Eclipse, Coral, Halo, Aviator, Mariner, Neon Cyber, Astrolabe, Bearing, Pure and Nocturne — each with its own bezel, ticks and needle.

QIBLA, PRECISELY
A great-circle bearing to the Kaaba from anywhere on Earth, computed offline, with a clear signal when you're aligned.

WHERE YOU ARE
Latitude and longitude in Decimal, DMS, UTM, MGRS or Plus Codes. Altitude in metres or feet from the barometric altimeter and GPS. Tap to copy any reading.

WAYPOINTS AND TRACKS
Save a waypoint where you stand, pick it on the map, search an address, or paste coordinates. Attach a photo and a note. Navigate back with a large arrow, live distance, ETA and spoken guidance. Record GPS tracks on the trail — hike, camp, or scout a route — and review them on the map. Import and export GPX. Waypoints sync privately through iCloud.

SIX INSTRUMENTS
Bubble level reading to a tenth of a degree. Qibla finder. Sun position with sunrise and sunset times. Wind direction, speed and forecast. AR compass through your camera. Sight-line photos with the bearing written in.

THE MAP
Apple Maps with your heading, waypoints and recorded tracks. Standard, satellite, hybrid and terrain styles.
