App Description

RASTHE is Bengaluru's community-powered platform for reporting and fixing footpath issues.

With over 1,000+ citizen reports submitted and 100+ issues already resolved, RASTHE is helping transform everyday observations into real-world improvements across the city.

Think of it as Tinder for footpaths.

Users can swipe through reported locations to verify and prioritize issues, creating a reliable, crowdsourced grid of pedestrian infrastructure conditions across Bengaluru.

How It Works

1. Spot an Issue

See a damaged, blocked, missing, or inaccessible footpath? Take a photo and submit a report in seconds.

2. Community Verification

Other users swipe through reports to verify and prioritize issues, ensuring the most pressing problems rise to the top.

3. Build the Grid

Every report and swipe contributes to a city-wide crowdsourced map of pedestrian infrastructure conditions.

4. Send to BBMP

With a single tap, users can forward valid reports to BBMP. An official complaint ticket is generated, allowing the issue to enter the authority's review and resolution workflow.

5. Drive Action

Verified reports and complaint data help highlight priority areas for pedestrian infrastructure improvements across Bengaluru.

Why RASTHE?

Most footpath issues are never reported, and individual complaints often lack the visibility needed to drive change. RASTHE combines thousands of citizen observations into structured, actionable data that helps identify where improvements are needed most.
