Meet Rusty, a voice-first AI learning companion for families with learners ages 4–12. Short daily quests support foundational reading and maths practice at home or on the go.
Rusty combines guided voice lessons with hands-on, on-device activities. Parents can manage learner profiles, goals, voice access, and progress.
SHORT DAILY QUESTS
Rusty keeps each lesson focused: hear a prompt, try an answer, use a hint when needed, and move on. Completed activity results help choose useful next steps without turning practice into a test.
READING THAT INVITES PARTICIPATION
Practice letter sounds, sight words, word building, vocabulary, shared reading, sequencing, and retelling. Read-aloud activities use conservative feedback and do not claim to grade pronunciation or reading level.
HANDS-ON FOUNDATIONAL MATHS
Explore counting, number paths, addition, subtraction, make-ten strategies, place value, patterns, arrays, and groups with visual, tappable activities. Rusty’s current library is a focused set of foundational reading and maths skills, not a full curriculum.
VOICE AND ON-DEVICE PRACTICE
One device-only learner can use offline activities without an account or purchase. Voice tutoring, cloud profiles, purchases, and the parent dashboard require an adult account, parent PIN, direct child-data notice, and consent. A 10-minute voice pack, plus monthly Premium and Family plans, is available through in-app purchase.
PARENT-MANAGED BY DESIGN
Children do not create accounts. Adults create and manage cloud learner profiles, choose goals and preferences, control voice access, and view progress summaries grounded in completed activities. The Family plan supports up to four learner profiles.
CLEAR DATA BOUNDARIES
On-device activities do not send learner information to an AI provider. During a consented live voice lesson, voice data is processed to deliver the lesson. Rusty does not store raw lesson audio, full conversation transcripts, photos, or free-text learner answers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Rusty is a practice companion, not a school, full curriculum, diagnostic assessment, or replacement for a teacher or specialist.
