App Description
Time Pool is the best shot clock app for iOS. It's easy to use and it has the best features:
- The buttons are clearly labeled with descriptions of when they should be pressed ("Balls stopped") and the actual names of the players.
- Use the "Pause" button to stop the timer. The app doesn't have unnecessary buttons (e.g., "Stop").
- Use the "Count down" mode to provide the same shot clock functionality you see in professional tournaments. Connect your iOS device to a Bluetooth speaker to amplify the beeps. (Great for tournaments, and as a training aid.)
- Use the "Count up" mode if you want to measure how long each player is taking per shot.
- The app records each shot and can display a running average of how long each player is taking per shot. (Useful in league and tournament settings if there's a dispute about slow play.)
