A Japanese year is more than four seasons. It turns through 24 solar terms — and within the "72 micro-seasons" (shichijuni-ko), the season shifts every five days. "Self-heal withers," "Cherry blossoms begin to open" — the delicate faces of the seasons that people of old once watched. Koyomi no Wa quietly tells you which one is unfolding today.
